The Three Angels’ Message

1. Revelation 14:6-12. In every epoch of human history, God has given individuals the opportunity to accept the Savior, faithfully warning them of coming judgments and providing a way of escape. Before the end of time, God gives His last warning to earth’s final generation. This warning is portrayed in revelation 14 as messages from three angels flying in the sky.

 

2. Revelation 14: 6, 7. The first angel proclaims:

 

The everlasting gospel. Since the Garden of Eden, there has always been only one true gospel-salvation by grace. Genesis 3:15; mark 16:15; Acts 4:12.

The hour of God’s judgment has come. Daniel 8:14. This judgment began in 1844 at the close of the 2,300-day prophecy.

The need to worship God and give Him glory as the Creator. The seventh-day Sabbath points us to God as the Creator and re-Creator of our lives. Exodus 20:8-11. We give Him glory by worshiping Him on the day He has set aside as His holy Sabbath day.

 

3. Revelation 14:8. The second angel proclaims:

 

Babylon has fallen. Babylon represents spiritual apostasy and confusion. It is the opposite of God’s faithful, last-day remnant church. Revelation 18:1-4.

 

4. Revelation 14: 9-11. The third angel proclaims:

 

That the “beast” –the power opposed to God in the last days-has a mark that denotes its authority. This mark involves a counterfeit day of worship in distinction to the Creator’s seventh-day Sabbath. Revelation 13:6, 16, 17; Daniel 7:25. Those who accept this mark in their right hand or their forehead give their allegiance to the beast.

A warning against receiving the mark of the beast, accepting any man-made system of false worship or receiving a tattoo that is put on your body physically.

The strongest warning to be found anywhere in the Bible.

 

5. Revelation 14:12. The purpose of these three angels’ messages is to warn us to error and identify truth. Those who accept this final warning from God constitute a worldwide movement of people from all religious faiths who follow God’s Word.

 

6. Revelation 22:14. God’s faithful people will give Him their loyalty and be obedient to His commandments.
