Eight Ways to
Hold on to Hope in the Storms of Life
1.
Determine whether or not you have
allowed part of your hope to drift to
a human source. Face what Satan is
causing you to fear (loss of health,
relationship, job) and commit that
desire or need to God.
2.
Assess the condition of your
temple are you physically
weary in well doing? Psalm 37: 7
tells us to rest in the Lord. Is your
spirit getting as much nourishment as
your flesh? Saturate your mind with
Gods word and music that honors
Him.
3.
Reaffirm the goodness of God in
your own heart. Hope comes from
believing God is who He said He is
and from believing He will do what He
says He will do.
4.
Declare aloud, the promises God
has made you. Psalm 3: 4
5.
Identify what Satan is using
(what you see, the passing of time,
what others are telling you) to make
you believe Gods Word will not
prove true for you personally.
6.
Surround yourself with Gods
creation. You cannot observe His
handiwork and believe He is unable to
care for what concerns you.
7.
Plan benevolent activities,
serving those you love, that you can
look forward to, motivating yourself
to keep moving forward.
8.
Purpose to wait for God to
deliver you. Lamentations 3:2 AMP The
Lord is Good to those who wait
hopefully and expectantly for Him, to
those who seek Him
